VENDOR MEETINGS
As your point of contact, I Do works with you, and for you,
to manage the time-consuming task of researching event vendors.
To make it easier for you, we narrow down your choices and
provide each client with a list of 3-5 recommended vendors
in each category. Then you decide which vendors are the right
fit for you.
We will be happy to help you in the selection of any of the
following types of vendors or suppliers you will need:
- Venue-including the rehearsal, ceremony
and reception sites
- Officiant
- Caterer, including menu selection
- Photographer
- Videographer
- Florists, decorators and décor planning
- Tabletop design, including linens
- Stationers, invitation and protocol, calligraphy
- Musicians, including bands and disc jockeys
- Pastry Chefs
- Attire for bride, groom and/or wedding party
- Transportation: deluxe vehicles, trolley, and others
- Parking
- Lighting design
- Hotels for guests
- "Pampering Package": make-up, manicure, hairstyling
NEGOTIATIONS
Once you've selected your vendors of choice, I Do helps you
work through the complex world of contracts and negotiators,
making sure that all of the elements you need are completely
described.
You can be assured that we accept NO COMMISSIONS
or referral fees from any of our vendors. We base our vendor
recommendations
solely on reputation, quality and service. And should a vendor
ever offer us a referral fee or discount, we ask that they
pass it on to you directly.
I Do Wedding Consultants do the following:
- Create a calendar of vendor payments
- Follows-up with vendors
- Maintains vendor contracts
- Devises a ceremony day agenda for vendors
- Is responsible for contacting and scheduling vendors
- Supervises vendor set-ups
- Timelines
One of our most valued features is the I
Do Timeline, a 2- to 3-page summary of your wedding, including
all details,
given to each vendor before the big event. This timeline
enables each vendor to coordinate, to ensure there are
no missteps or areas of confusion along the way.
COORDINATING VENDORS
The day of the wedding requires oversight
of all participating vendors. We will be responsible for instructing
the vendors
in their roles on timing, locations, and coordination
with each one another during the ceremony and reception.
